Berno X voordeleuk

This project was a collaboration between Voor de Leuk and Berno, centred around the theme of fatherhood. Berno — a streetwear brand focused on celebrating and highlighting fathers and father figures — invited Voor de Leuk to create a series of poems exploring personal experiences, emotions, and memories connected to the subject.

Through Studio Menuvre, I worked on translating these poems into wearable visual concepts that could exist naturally within a streetwear context while still preserving the emotional and poetic nature of the writing. In close collaboration with poet Margot ten Bok, the poems were developed into graphic compositions and apparel designs that were later produced, printed, and sold as a limited clothing collection.
The project explored the intersection between poetry, fashion, and storytelling — transforming intimate written pieces into physical objects that could be worn, shared, and experienced in everyday life.
