Chiringossos is a community initiative designed to bring people and their dogs together through shared experiences in Barcelona. Inspired by the Spanish chiringuito—a relaxed local gathering place for coffee, vermut, conversation, and connection—the concept reimagines the daily dog walk as a social ritual.
The name combines chiringuito with gossos, the Catalan word for "dogs", reflecting both the local culture and the project's playful, welcoming spirit. Through curated walks that start at different hospitality venues across the city, participants and their dogs explore Barcelona's neighborhoods, discover new routes, and connect with fellow dog owners along the way.
Beyond fostering social connections, Chiringossos aims to help newcomers integrate into the city, practice languages in a natural setting, exchange local recommendations, and share knowledge about dog care and wellbeing. The long-term vision expands beyond group walks to include beach days, puppy crawls, community gatherings, and other dog-friendly events that celebrate Barcelona's outdoor lifestyle, hospitality culture, and walkability.
For this project, I developed the concept, brand identity, visual language, and event framework, creating a scalable foundation for a community-centered lifestyle brand.
